Pamela
Jo Slotness (Cyr)
Pamela
Jo (Cyr) Slotness, 38, of Alborn, MN died Wednesday,
April 5, 2006 in St. Mary's Medical Center of
a pulmonary embolism. She was born Feb. 8, 1968
in Duluth to Joseph and Barbara (Keeler) Cyr.
She graduated from Duluth East High School in
1986 and from Hibbing Technical College in 1993.
She married Dale Slotness on July 30, 1998.
Pamela worked for North Shore bank of Commerce,
the Share Advantage Credit Union, and presently
for the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Pamela
loved participating in and watching sports.
She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling,
skiing, boating and four-wheeling. She raced
her snowmobile and won in Snocross. She especially
loved spending time with her family and her
dog. She cherished her daughter, Chelsea.
She
was preceded in death by her grandfather, Fred
Keeler in July of 2005; grandparents, Anna and
Patrick Cyr of Madawaska, Maine. Pamela is survived
by her husband, Dale; parents, Joe and Barb
Cyr; daughter, Chelsea Jo Hendrickson; brother,
Scott (Dena) Cyr; nephews, Dylan and Justin
Cyr of Duluth; grandmother, Ruth Keeler of Duluth;
former husband, Keith Hendrickson of Duluth;
step-children, Aaron (Sara) Slotness, Sabrina
Slotness; step-grandson, Sebastian Slotness
of Duluth; many aunts, uncles, cousins, special
friends; and Gunner her dog.
