Mark
Dodge
Mark A. Dodge, 27, St. Paul, formerly of Duluth, died Sunday, July 16, 1995, as a result of injuries from an accident. He was a graduate of Duluth East High School. He was a doctoral student in social psychology at New York University at the time of his death. His father, Willard, died previously. He is survived by his mother, Josephine of St. Paul; his natural mother, Pauline; three brothers, Peter, Vincent, and Adam, all of St. Paul; three sisters, Theresa, Clare, and Bernadette, all of St. Paul; and his fiancee, Tonikiaa Orange of South Carolina.
From
Mark's younger brother Adam:
"To
tell the story of his journey that led him from
Duluth to Chicago to L.A to New York? This young
man, so bright, so full of life, and on his
way to being a certain success in his field,
died way too young. It was not all for nothing,
though. It made me take a step back and look
at the road I was on. (It was not a good one.)
I have since turned my life around and am a
success myself. As my best friend, idol, brother
and sometimes a father figure (my father died
when I was 13), I honor him.
