Kris Sobczyk

After a valiant 4-year battle against breast cancer, Kris passed peacefully on 4/18/2010 at Fairview University Hospital.

A graduate of Duluth East High School, Kris was a Birchen award recipient, honor student, Whiteside scholar and the Editor & Chief of the yearbook. Kris also attended the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis), was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and was a long time employee of the University of Minnesota Hospital where she was active in the Turtle Derby fund-raising for cancer research. She will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by Ken & Edna Buck (grandparents). Survived by mother and father, Diane Sobczyk and Richard Allen; brother, Michael (Shelley) Sobczyk; Ken & Becky Buck (uncle & aunt), and numerous cousins and friends.
