Jimmy
Herold
James
H. Herold, 23, died Friday, September 13, 1991,
as the result of injuries sustained in an accident.
He
was born in Lakewood Township and was a 1986
graduate of East High School. He attended Hibbing
Community College and the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
He worked at Twin Ports Grocery, Gateway Foods
and Superior Blacktop Co. He played baseball
for the American Legion Post No. 342 and the
Fast Pitch Softball League. He was Athlete of
the Year at East High School in 1986, and coached
with the school's baseball B team.
He
is survived by his parents, James and Cheryll
Herold of Duluth; a brother, Michael of Camp
LeJeune, N.C.; a sister, Cynthia of Duluth;
his maternal grandmother, Luverne Skoglund of
Duluth; and his special friend, Jody Anderson
of Duluth.
